I’m a frontend developer, and I make small tools for myself.
My projects are in Works. Here I also write about the problems I run into and what I think about them.
By the way, I’m a man, married, and born in the last century. Quite a few friends have asked me about my gender privately, so I thought I’d say it here before anyone gets their hopes up and feels disappointed, haha.
My online avatar comes from an edited image of Roxy from Mushoku Tensei, affectionately called “Blue Mama.” Some very good developers’ anime-themed blogs made an impression on me: the more anime, the better the developer. Kidding. I can’t draw and don’t want the same character design as everyone else, so it’s nice to have AI help with that now.
What I make
I also pick up old projects again. Vido is a player I wrote in the summer of 2016. I recently rewrote it, and now use it for videos on this blog.
Ashita
Ashita is Japanese for “tomorrow.” I’m incredibly lazy and keep putting things off. My wife is always teasing me about it: everything is tomorrow, tomorrow. That’s how the blog got its name.
How lazy? I used to write these posts myself, then let AI write them and ended up with a lot of AI slop. Sorry!!! Actually, AI is helping revise these, too. Sorry again!!! I’m going back through my own experiences, correcting mistakes, and carefully reading what it has written.
